W3LPL's OPEN HOUSE 6-20-09
On 6-20-09 Frank Donovan, W3LPL had his annual open house and was my first time there. There were many in attendance and I was given a tour of the world class contest station and a walking tour of the many antennas and towers at his site. It was almost overwhelming to see such a display. Maurice KA3EJJ, explained how he helped Frank with his towers, rotors and antennas which was fascinating. I would like to thank Frank for being so gracious in sharing his incredible station with all of us, it was much appreciated.
